AMV Hell was an Anime Music Video that was created in 2004 which was made up of a collection of incomplete comedy AMVs. It became fairly popular, and eventually spawned an entire series of multi-editor projects, bringing together work from hundreds of AMV creators. A later spin-off called AMV Minis continued the fun. Both series are no longer active, but you can still find information and downloads for all of the videos right here. AMV Hell serves as a time capsule of anime fandom, pop culture, and internet memes.

AMV Hell is a collection put out by the fine folks over a AMVHell.com. I stumbled upon one of the videos a few years back and liked it. Over the years I lost my downloaded copies to computer crashes and re-builds. Recently I decided to look them up again and managed to find the collection and get it downloaded. For my own archival purposes I am putting them up on my site so I can keep them around. I've copied the credits for each video over as well for convenience in knowing what anime or song is being used.

Due to the graphic nature of these videos, I'm not going to be hosting them here like the ones above. These's are not really something I'm into personally, but for completeness sake I do have a copy of the torrent files available for download.

While the first season of AMV Minis was being released, the next full feature - AMV Hell 5: Dedicated to Dio (dedicated both to Ronnie James Dio as well as an AMV creator whose works had graced previous AMV Hells) was developed alongside it. Co-creator SSGWNBTD began accepting submissions to in September 2009, and on July 30 2010, AMV Hell 5 (partially) premiered at Otakon 2010. It was shown to be almost complete, only missing an opening and closing. It premiered in full at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2010 on September 17, 2010, and is now available to download from the AMV Hell website or watch on YouTube.

Difficult. I know many Indian people in North America and Europe and they seem to be such good people yet when you talk to them about the hell that exists in their country they simply don't care.
